Mambu is reportedly powering the technology behind the platform which aims to better serve SMEs; the project is part four of what is called “speedboats” which are ventures within Santander; other ventures part of their program included a digital account for the underbanked in Latin America, a challenger bank serving the Spanish market and a blockchain money transfer service.
