The latest edition of Credit Union Tracker, a collaboration between PYMNTS and PSCU, found that 60% of credit union customers rated having a mobile app as very or extremely important; also 79% of credit union members would stray from their credit union to access fast, convenient services from a fintech provider; this data will make credit unions even more willing to partner with fintech platforms so they can bring the latest tech innovations to their members; credit union membership continues to grow, coming in at 115 million in 2018 and growth is expected in 2019.
