Mastercard Partners with Microsoft on Payments Innovation

Mastercard and Microsoft have announced a collaboration around digital commerce, startup innovation and financial inclusion; the collaboration will help Mastercard’s partners to experiment with new commerce capabilities; “Mastercard’s commitment to innovation and financial inclusion has accelerated digital commerce for individuals and businesses around the world,” said Judson Althoff, EVP of Microsoft’s Worldwide Commercial Business, to TearSheet; Microsoft’s Azure cloud environment provides infrastructure to help companies develop new products and allows them to work across various ecosystems; “We are thrilled to deepen our longstanding relationship with Microsoft by advancing the research, development and scaling of new technologies and business models,” said Ken Moore, EVP and Head of Mastercard Labs, to TearSheet. TearSheet.
