There are an estimated 800,000 federal workers affected by the partial government shutdown and a further 4.1 million federal contractors also affected; starting today these workers will be without a paycheck whether they are working or not; for federal workers with a personal loan worried about making a payment, online lenders may be offering relief; Bankrate lists the policy of many of the major online lenders and how they are working with their borrowers during this difficult time.
