S&P Report Bullish on UK P2P Lending Sector

Standard and Poor’s released a report this week said that the UK peer to peer lending sector is poised for “significant further growth”; the increase in institutional investment and the growing number of securitizations will boost the industry; the report did point out the long standing criticism of peer to peer lending that platforms do not have enough skin in the game; as the platforms mature the risks are declining because ratings agencies have a longer history of performance data.
