While leaving wide open the question of “what happens as we head into the summer and fourth quarter of 2020,” a recent report from Morningstar claimed that “as the market and economy emerge out of lockdown, the potential for growth remains positive.” The research said there has been an increase in consumer loan securitizations during the second quarter, and predicted that the Netherlands and Ireland are on pace to finish the year with higher issuance levels than those seen in 2019. Funding Circle completed its seventh securitization in January and Zopa has been involved in three transactions so far this year. P2PFN
