AltFi has compiled a list of the fintech companies that have started new initiatives to help consumers during challenging times; one initiative called Covid Credit was created by Fronted, 11:FS and Credit Kudos; it helps the self employed prove loss of income in order to access government programs; Pento has also created a Coronavirus Furlough Calculator; other initiatives include the COVID-19 Relief and Wellbeing Network by Tully and Save My Local which helps local small businesses by allowing customers to purchase vouchers; other companies such as Starling have announced a three month interest holiday on overdrafts for those impacted.
