Amazon Building Checkout Terminals with Biometrics

Amazon is currently in the early stages of building a new checkout terminal for coffee shops, fast-food restaurants and other merchants that would use biometrics like a palm print to pay; the idea would be to allow for merchants with repeat customers to make the checkout experience more seamless; Amazon would have to figure out fraud concerns and whether or not consumers would be on board with providing additional personal details; using multiple cards would also be a concern as there is an unknown how the technology would work when someone would pay; the move continues the trend amongst some of the biggest tech companies who are only going further into financial services with each passing year.
