A new survey by BlackRock of more than 200 institutional investors shows that only a quarter say technology is as important as choosing the right active equity manager; “What we heard from investors was that while they see the importance of using the latest technology, the most important piece of that is the value back to the client,” Nicole Mossman, BlackRock’s senior product strategist for active equities, explained to Business Insider; most believe the technology is important but they are looking for better evidence as to how the technology can help them.
