Brazil’s Loft Raises $175mn Series C Round

Brazil based digital real estate startup Loft has raised a $175mn series C round to help make the process of buying and selling a home easier; the round was co-led by Vulcan Capital and Andreessen Horowitz with participation from QED Investors, Fifth Wall Ventures, Thrive Capital, Valor Capital, Monashees and others; the company intends to use the new capital to further expand in Brazil then make the leap across LatAm starting with Mexico City in Q2; Loft generated more than $150mn in annualized revenues in its first full year of operation and, in 2019 transacted on over 1,000 properties.
