Fiserv saw $3.7bn in revenue for Q4 2019 with First Data accounting for 61 percent of that total or $2.2bn; Fiserv acquired First Data in August 2019 and is already seeing the acquisition pay big dividends; Fiserv COO, formerly First Data CEO, Frank Bisignano believes there are more than $100mn in revenue synergies for 2020 alone; the two companies have already identified more than 80 different opportunities to better serve clients; keeping up with the pace of innovation is paramount in today’s payments climate where further consolidation is expected and newer entrants are gaining fast.
