The Chinese fintech market has primarily been dominated by local giants but global firms have started to build a presence within the country; CNBC takes a look at a few areas in fintech where western firms have started to establish themselves; Foreign Exchange has seen TransferWise and WhichFX bring better rates and save brokers money; UK based MarketInvoice is helping businesses to understand what Chinese firms are worth the risk through their network inside China; Tradeshift is helping to transform the supply chain through their platform, offering buyers & sellers more transparency and quicker verification by having everything be digital.
