The Daily Telegraph reports that the challenger bank is hiring executives to lead its product and marketing arms in the US and will launch as soon as this summer; the company is expected to be based in Los Angelas; Monzo doesn’t have a US banking license but is likely to do a soft launch by offering a pre-paid card; this is similar to how the bank launched in the UK.
