Tally claims that their new offering is the only free automated savings service for consumers; the company’s first product feature was a service to automate credit card debt payments which can save consumers significant amounts in interest; the new feature transfers money automatically from a user’s checking account into their savings account; the accounts offered by Tally do not pay interest and Jason Brown, Tally co-founder and CEO noted that it is a reasonably expensive service to provide to people but their revenue model allows them to offer it for free.
