Chris Skinner notes that the tech industry is the least regulated industry in the world according to a Bank of America study. But given the backlash against tech firms in recent times this will likely change. Data is the new money and soon regulators will recognize this. And as tech firms continue to move into finance they will become more regulated anyway. Source.
